The Repair Shop BBC1 – December 2020 – Gold Diamond Wedding Ring Repair

2nd December 2020 saw series 6 episode 9 of the repair shop be aired, in which Richard takes on a badly damaged wedding band.   The ring was bought to the repair shop by Eve Robinson of King’s Lynn, Norfolk.  The ring was her late husband Keiths who tragically died after a battle with dementia.  The treasured ring was cut from his finger by paramedics, but in an unusual way.  Most cuts would occur in the easiest point but this ring was cut where the diamonds were, making the repair considerably harder.
