The Repair Shop BBC1 – February 2021 – Engagement Ring Repair

On this episode, I had the pleasure of repairing a ring with a very unusual story.   Helle’s cherished heirloom engagement ring had been lost, and just when they had given up hope of finding it, it was noticed buried in the gravel driveway of the couple’s home.   It had been run over hundreds of times, as Helle & David run a B&B, and the ring had parted company with 2 of the 5 gemstones.  They immediately marked out the area where it was found and slowly shovelled up the gravel , bringing it inside in buckets to hunt for them.  Fortunately, they were found, and I was able to return the ring back to it’s glory”
